Ghalta the Unstoppable

Could be wrong if Its discount requires an established large creature; efficient removal or a lower-power metagame can make it an uncastable nine-drop.

A five-mana-or-less 8/8 plus team trample is worth testing in creature-heavy green shells, but it needs a board and has no immediate value against removal.

Could be wrong if Pioneer's efficient interaction and stronger finishers may leave no competitive shell willing to play a conditional nine-drop.

Creatures Toolbox can plausibly test the cheap-body mode, but this is less immediate than Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant (35) and provides no ETB or reanimation payoff.

Could be wrong if The format may not reward a board-dependent non-hasty attacker, even when its casting cost is reduced to one mana.

Cloudpost can cast large threats, but this is far below Craterhoof Behemoth (70) as a finisher and is especially exposed to Karakas as a legendary creature.
