Izzet Aggro is the most-played deck at 13.7% of the field, ahead of Golgari Midrange (10.1%) and Jeskai Control (6.8%). The top three decks account for only 30.6% of the field, so this is an open format — a broad gauntlet rather than a handful of decks to beat.
Pioneer draws on every set from Return to Ravnica forward with no rotation, which gives it a deep card pool but a slower rate of change than Standard. Shifts here usually come from a single new printing slotting into an existing shell rather than from a wholly new deck, so watch for established archetypes gaining share rather than for newcomers.

How these numbers are produced
Each deck counted here comes from a published competitive result — Magic Online leagues and challenges, and paper events whose organisers publish standings and lists. We do not sample, weight or estimate: a deck is in the window because a real player registered it in a real event inside the last 14 days.
Decks are grouped by a rules-driven archetype signature that matches on the cards which actually define a deck, rather than on its colours. Lists the rules cannot confidently place go to a human review queue instead of being guessed at, and when we merge or split an archetype we relabel its history so the trend line stays honest.
